OUR MISSION

At Rockin’ H Farm, we believe food should come from a place of care, intention, and gratitude.
We’re a family-owned, faith-driven farm in Northeast Georgia raising pasture-based livestock and selling directly to local families who want to know where their food comes from — and who raised it.

Our work is rooted in hard days, humble hands, and honest food. We don’t chase shortcuts or trends. We focus on doing things the right way, stewarding our land and animals well, and raising food we’re proud to feed our own children.

Our Story

Rockin’ H Farm sits on 67 acres in Danielsville, Georgia, just outside downtown Ila in Madison County. It’s home to us — Amanda and Tyler Hall — and our two wonderfully feral kids, Branch and Rowyn. It’s where our days start early, our boots stay muddy, and our family gets to grow up together alongside the land and livestock we care for.

Our story started long before Rockin’ H Farm had a name. We were high school sweethearts growing up in Hall County, Georgia, dreaming big long before we knew what those dreams would look like. When Amanda left Flowery Branch to earn her Animal Science degree from the University of Georgia in Athens, Tyler followed a calling rooted deep in his family — becoming a firefighter like his grandfather and uncle.

Our farming adventures officially began in 2011 when we bought our first home: a small 10-acre plot in Barrow County. We cleared it, fenced it, and built it with our own hands, starting with two horses. Before long, chickens, ducks, and dairy goats joined the mix. While Tyler spent over a decade serving as a City of Atlanta firefighter, Amanda built a career in finance and bookkeeping — and together, we kept adding to the farm, learning as we went.

By 2017, we had outgrown our little Statham farm and made our way to Madison County. Those years were full of experimentation and education. We raised meat rabbits, guineas, exotic chicken breeds, meat goats, and even a trio of emu before eventually deciding to “go big” and purchase our first cattle. Each season taught us something new and helped shape the direction we wanted to take.

In 2019, we took another leap — moving to more land and stepping into commercial poultry farming, all while expanding our cattle operation. Then in 2021, our world shifted again when we started our family. That season brought clarity. We made a conscious decision to build a life where our kids get the best of us, not the scraps of the rest of us.

Farming full-time became that path — one that allows us to work side by side, raise our children with strong values, and serve our community through honest food and education.

Our faith shapes everything we do. We believe the land, the animals, and the opportunity to farm are gifts. We try to approach this work with humility, responsibility, and gratitude to Jesus, striving to be good stewards of what we’ve been entrusted with.

Our Livestock

Rockin’ H Farm raises mindfully chosen livestock suited for pasture-based systems and long-term sustainability in the Southeast.

Cattle

We raise registered Brahman and F1 Braford cattle known for their heat tolerance, maternal instincts, and efficiency on grass. These cattle thrive in Northeast Georgia’s climate and produce flavorful, well-finished beef when raised with patience and care.

Kunekune Pigs

Our registered Kunekune pigs are raised with a focus on temperament, soundness, and stewardship. Kunekunes are known for their grazing ability, rich pork, and suitability for small farms and homesteads.

Pork availability is limited and offered seasonally. We also provide education for customers interested in starting or improving a Kunekune breeding program.

Other Livestock

We also raise Great Pyrenees livestock guardian dogs and miniature donkeys — both playing important roles in our farm’s ecosystem and protection strategy.

Transparency & Stewardship

We believe trust is earned, not marketed. That’s why we’re open about how we raise animals, what we feed, how processing works, and what customers should realistically expect.

Pasture-based farming isn’t always the fastest or cheapest route — but it’s the one that aligns with our values. We prioritize animal welfare, soil health, and long-term sustainability over volume.

Education matters to us. Whether you’re a first-time beef buyer or a fellow farmer, we’re always happy to share what we’ve learned along the way.
